Developed from the successful SI 5048, SMA’s new 6.0H and 8.0H Sunny Island inverter / chargers are at the cutting edge of off-grid system control. The 8.0H can deliver a continuous AC output of 6000W at 48V, 3 second surges of 11kW, and 115A continuous charge current.
Building on the the success of the 5048, simplicity, robustness and functionality are central to the 8.0H.
OptiUse simplifies control for planners, installers and operators. OptiPower controls loads and energy management to make sure the system remains as efficient as possible while assuring power is available when needed. OptiCool ensures operation even in the most extreme locations. High IP54 protection class allows outdoor installation and ease of mind. Scalability allows for systems from 3kW to 300kW.
